Canton South Dakota December 21 Indians from Hiawatha hospital moved to St Elizabeths Washington under Indian Department orders. Seventeen attendants accompanied ten patients. seven Pullmans and two baggage cars carried the party. Some patients remained and will be returned home when arrangements are ready. The removal ends a three month fight to close the hospital at Hiswathe. The property valued around half a million dollars, including a 320 acre farm. A farewell party was held around a Christmas tree.

Mrs Agnes M Vanderstein aged 85 died Wednesday afternoon at home after an illness of several days. Born July 20 1948 in Kilbarton Johnston Renfrewshire Scotland she came to the United States in 1871. She is survived by daughters Mrs B J Lane and Mrs Jessie Trouslot and by Vander brothers William Faulds of Douglas Illinois and John Faulds of Berkeley California. A sister Mrs Jessie Trouslot resides in Gales City. Funeral arrangements pending at the First Presbyterian Church of the city.
