Betty Ann Ulrich the four and a half year old granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Ulrich of Long Beach California shows marked improvement after a car struck her near home on November 25. She had a fractured skull and broken leg and was unconscious for about two weeks with three nurses at her hospital bedside. Her father is Clarence Ulrich and her mother is at 1413 Myrtle Avenue. Mr Ulrich later served as an electrician’s mate in the navy aboard the U S S Honolulu stationed in the Hawaiian Islands.
