Progress in Forbes Hall of Science at Yankton College
Dec 16 Yankton reports rapid progress on the Forbes Hall of Science building with two weeks to enclosure and winter layover. Weather and material delays pushed work. 46 days saw back section walled, gable finished, steel girder supports in place, copper roofing progress, and brickwork advancing. Only four of 20 initial college workers remain, named Sydney Underwood, Charles Cummings, Donald Gibby, and Wesley Yeandle. South Dakota Auxiliary Plans Christmas Cheer for Disabled Vets
Aberdeen December report notes the South Dakota American Legion Auxiliary will deliver Christmas cheer to all disabled service men in state hospitals. Mrs. Amy Anderson, department rehabilitation chairman, oversees plans and unit coordination under national rules. Funds will support gifts totaling three dollars per day per patient, replacing gift packages with monetary gifts to equalize nationwide hospital support.

Eight Men On U Debate Squad At South Dakota
