Farmers Elevator Association Backs Federal Farm Board
The Farmers Elevator association of South Dakota endorsed the federal farm board and approved forming the Farmers National Grain corporation central marketing agency. Leaders H. E. Covey and A. L. Berg were reappointed, and directors J. D. Hicks, J. Oyen, and Covey were reelected. The group urged farmers to cooperate with the farm board and supported road paving and prairie surface work, while noting a cautious stance on the Frantz three percent automobile sales tax.
