Counterfeit Gang Held After Sioux City Raid
Five alleged members of a counterfeiting gang are jailed after a raid recovered a full counterfeiting outfit and bogus money. Persons jailed include H E Sullivan 49 his wife Elma 42 their daughter Elnora 18 son Edward 15 and Tony Marshall 19. Equipment seized included dies for making counterfeit coins and a pile of fake coins totaling about 10.25 dollars. Officials say the gang has operated in Sioux City about two months with links to Minneapolis where similar activity is believed to have occurred.

Reserve Officers Addressed By Col True Speaking

Four Are Killed In Dakota City Train Collision
Four men from Sioux City and Nebraska died when their car was struck by a Chicago Burlington and Quincy passenger train at a Dakota City grade crossing. The impact hurled the car about 75 feet and demolished it.
