Lane Barber Weds Stanley A McKercher in Quiet Methodist Ceremony
Lane Lela Barber daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Barber of Lane wed Stanley A. McKercher son of Mr. and Mrs. G. P. McKercher of Manley in a morning ceremony at the Lane Methodist Church parsonage. Lois Barber and Roy Rietz attended. The couple’s dinner guests included the bridal party and the parents. They plan a home on West First Avenue after December 9 and will tour Mason City Manley Clarksville and Omaha before settling in. Mr McKercher represents Davison and 16 other South Dakota counties for Underwood Writers and Sundstrand adding machines. Mrs McKercher is secretary for the typewriters and office supply company and for the Dakota Engine Works.
