James Hayy, 65, of the Yankton reservation eight miles south of Lake Andes, died Tuesday from injuries and pneumonia due to exposure after being beaten and left in a corn field for six days. Arnold and two Sisseton Indians, George Ranci and David Bluedog, face manslaughter charges after an inquest. Warrants issued for the last two. Hayy had been robbed of 145 dollars received for land. a later rainstorm worsened his condition.
