In a simple at home ceremony on Sunday August 24 Miss Cleata Kenison and Kenneth Ernster were united in marriage at the bride’s parents’ home. Rev J P Whitt officiated the single ring service at high noon. The couple will live with the bride’s parents until March 1 next and then begin farming northwest of Bonilla.

Ministers Bid Farewell To Captain Read In Huron Luncheon
The Ministerial Association of Huron gathered at the Marvin Hughitt Hotel for a noon farewell luncheon honoring Captain Adin Read of the Salvation Army. Read will depart Tuesday for new duties in Beatrice Nebraska. A cash gift was given to aid the Reads in adding to their silver set. New officers were elected to fill vacancies through year end.

Driver Blamed for Fatal Crash Near Lone Tree
A coroner's jury in Flandreau ruled that carelessness of Sorenson, driver of the other car, caused the death of Frederick Ellwein 31 of Madison in a highway 77 collision near Lone Tree. Ellwein was thrown from the car as it swerved into an oncoming truck after a failed passing maneuver. The truck driver and two Sioux Falls men in the truck were injured.
