Indians Injured in Bad Lands Car Crash Near Pine Ridge
Four Indians two women and two men were seriously hurt in a overnight crash three miles east of Conata in the Bad Lands of South Dakota. Driver Henry Jumping Eagle and sister Josephine Jumping Eagle from Pine Ridge along with Rosy Jacobs Enuwax Montileau of Donata and Oliver Jumping Eagle father and Pine Ridge police chief were aboard. A nurse said at least one may have died. One man Harry Jacobs, unharmed, said the car left the grade on a sharp turn at a bridge and plunged into a ditch. The extent of injuries could not be fully determined.
