Central South Dakota threshing remains active across eight counties
Threshing continues in eight Central South Dakota counties with yields varying by area. Beadle, Spink, Potter, Sanborn, and Jerauld report promising wheat and corn potential, though rain is still needed in several northern zones. Buffalo and surrounding counties see some damage from a Nail storm, while Kingsbury county notes good grain quality but modest yields. Athol region reports best origins in Spink with 15 bushels per acre wheat near Redfield lower, and Doland areas expect little harvest due to dry spells.
