Train kills man near Sioux Falls in early morning
A Rock Island passenger train struck a man about a mile east of Sioux Falls. He is believed to be Lewis Al Fladen of Logan County Iowa, around 45, scooting beside the rails as the engine approached. Train crews could not stop in time and the man died before reaching Sioux Falls.
