Tourists will learn road conditions on South Dakota’s main highways via weekly reports sent to automobile clubs and tourist bureaus nationwide. D. A. McKinnon says about 900 names are ready for this summer, with district engineers feeding weekly updates from routes across the state. The program, first for South Dakota, aims to advertise good surfaced highways and two all surfaced east west routes to the Black Hills and western regions.
