Nord Of Faulkton Elected Fifth District Legion Commander
Roy Nord of Faulkton was chosen as the fifth district American Legion commander at the thirteenth annual district convention in Miller on April 1. Donald McCullen of Miller was narrowly defeated in the heated race. Mrs. Clara Zachritz Faulkton was elected Legion Auxiliary head with Lena Burke Seneca as alternate president. Wessington will host the 1934 district convention. A banquet and dance followed, featuring talks by state commander Harry Kehm and district officers, drum corps entertainment, and dancing led by Chick Talcott's orchestra.
