Boy Wounded in Lincoln Street Gun Battle

Pierre April 20 The state banking system of South Dakota was described as in the best condition in years by Frank R Strain state superintendent of banks in a report covering December 3 1933 to March 5 1934. Deposits rose to 26389565 68 from 24089231 50 a gain of 2506334 10 while cash reserves jumped from 225 to 44 under federal deposit insurance which began January 1. Borrowings dropped from 1109611 67 to 622076 82.
