In Lockport New York on April 16 Alvin Claude twenty and Donald Claude twenty two cousins living a few miles apart started out to search for one another. They collided head on on a rural road near their homes. Doctors at Lockport Hospital amputated the left arms of both youths and reported internal and head injuries with both in critical condition.
