Tax conscience fund rises in Pierre department update

Pettigrew Noted Mason Is Dead in Sioux Falls

Dr George Atwood Pettigrew longtime Sioux Falls surgeon and leading Mason died yesterday in his office from coronary thrombosis. A Vermonter by birth he moved to South Dakota and devoted about 25 years to Masonic work. He fostered the Sioux Falls Masonic temple library and office building, a major monument to his life work.
