Boy Sheriff Held on Murder Charge in Price Slaying
MAULTON Wisconsin April iy Tuneau county s former boy sheriff Lyall Wright was charged today with the slaying of District Attorney Clinton G Price. An extra guard was placed at the jail after the murder warrant was issued last night and a inquest was to be held today. A blood trail from the scene to an abandoned tent and river led to Wright s home where officers found his torn clothing and a cut hand. A shotgun was found by a river boat nearby. Police said Wright had been on a fishing trip and drinking party Sunday. Governor Kohler ordered a thorough investigation and two special prosecutors were appointed. The sheriff s theories included Price s death to stop threats to expose bootlegging or as punishment for Wright s sentence.

Boy Dies After Being Struck By Car Near Brookings
Brookings April 13 Special an ingest was in progress to investigate the death of Lowell Jones 12 who was killed when struck by a car driven by Ruy Dolan a Brookings tobacco seller who formerly lived in Huron. The accident happened about four miles west of Brookings as Jones and companions fished beneath a highway bridge. His line snagged and when he ran to free it he was struck. No charges had been filed against Dolan according to Coroner B T Rude.

Dunn pleaded guilty to first degree robbery as an Eden bank accomplice with the Eden bank robbery on Nov seven. Her husband Eddie Dunn is serving a life sentence for a Sioux City bank robbery. Leo Lamoreaux another alleged Eden accomplice is serving a 15 year term at the South Dakota penitentiary. Judge Babbock considered maximum punishment but after noting Dunn would be thirty five on release he gave two years hoping for reform. Sheriff Theodora Stoa takes Dunn to Sioux Falls.
