Otto V. Meyhaus Sioux Falls banker and president founder of Cornbridge Savings Bank died at 2 31 this morning after a crash 44 miles west of Wal sey He had been in critical condition since Monday. The in jured Meyer haus was transferred to Sioux Falls for funeral services set Friday at Congregational Church. McDowell vice president of Northwest Security National Bank par ticipated in the crash and is to be released from hospital. Driver Gus Stinar and Mrs Stinar suffered multiple injuries and remain hospitalized at Wes sington. The collision occurred on the Johnson hill west of Wolsey along highway 14 while en route from Pie rca to meet state officials.

George Wright 65 of Hurog Dakota is resting in Pierre hospital after a cerebral hemorrhage last night. Dr. Salladay said Wright’s condition is not critical at present. He was driven to the hospital after an indigestion attack on Monday and returned home, but was stricken again last evening.
A 25 member mountaineering party started at daybreak in eastern Arizona to locate a wrecked eight person airliner lost en route from Los Angeles to New York for sale to a Holland firm. Snow depths hinder ground crews. rescuers expect a tough trek through box canyons to reach the 10,500 foot Baldy peak area where the plane went down.
London reports Britain dispatched the destroyer Garland toward Palma Mallorca to seek an insurgent answer after a bombing attack on a royal Navy ship off Spain.
