League Of Women Voters Finishes Pre Election Educational Campaign
The Huron League Of Women Voters completed its pre election educational drive with the second installment of a comparison on mayor council and commission city government forms. It notes current commission government and the upcoming vote to decide if the city keeps that system or shifts to mayor council. The pamphlet compares meetings, official duties, vacancies, qualifications, and appointive officers under both forms, highlighting differences in voting rights, veto power, and city manager provisions.
