Murder mystery at Berkeley estate linked to Crosby
In a tangled Bay area murder plot Doris Matthews, a lady's maid, is found involved with the Berkeley household after a rock-weighted body surfaces from the lake. Detective Dundee threads a web around Seymour Crosby, Clorinda Berkeley, Phyllis Crosby, and a cast including Mrs. Lambert and John Maxwell as more suspects emerge amid trips to London and New York.
