Regatta Day Harbor Sports Endorse Great Spirit

Pleasant Saturday events celebrate Regatta Day with a full harbor program. Captains Campbell and King raised funds, A. G. M. Robertson backed the holiday bill, and Chas. Wilson started races with punctuality. The Myrtle and Healani crews’ boat houses glowed with decoration as crews raced in yachts, paddles, and swimming events won by Kaaiwa, Kimokeo, Kakenko, and Maui Boy among others.

Attorney General Smith Suffers Arm Injury in Hospital Visit

Attorney General Smith has a broken right arm near the wrist, found by Dr Wood after an X ray at the Ueso hospital this morning. Smith drove to his private office before being taken to the hospital. Dole indicated the Commission progresses well and may finish labor by midweek. It is possible a Hawaiian member will join American members in Washington before Congress convenes.

Guard captures Nebraska volunteer at ranch road

A guard at Paul Isenborg's ranch detained a Nebraska volunteer Saturday after an unrelated depredation incident. The captured man had not committed the previously alleged wrongdoing and remained on the road near the guard post.
