The defendant refused to plead. a not guilty plea was entered. Witness described finding tools missing after notice and warrants discussed. Lovey was discharged on motion of defense counsel.
Harry Armitage of J F Morgan's auction rooms conducted a sale for A M Brown Marshal at the Judiciary building under a decree in equity for foreclosure of mortgage from C L Hopkins to Lamnlilo trustees. The Hopkins homestead on Waikiki road sold to H R Hitchcock for 1875 with dwelling and improvements on two 40000 square foot lots. A North Kohala cane land parcel over ten acres sold to Judge C F Hart for 300. A Marshal's sale against C T Gulick administrator of J Gomes estate advertised yesterday but did not occur as judgment was satisfied.
W F Wilson receiver reports collected 87927.3 and paid 2024.13, balance 6705.20 brings to court. Five preferred wage claims exist. Receiver sold three Hawadi stores. expected to cover about 23 percent of debts.
