At the Christian church convention in Indianapolis Mra O A Burgess president of the Women’s Board of Missions gave the annual address. The secretary’s report listed 1603 auxiliaries in the United States with 30 807 members and contributions totaling 856 050. In India Jamaica and Mexico there were twenty six missionaries at work and thirty offering splendid work in the United States. The Ereign Missionary Society reports over 1 000 000 communicants and total missionary offerings exceeding 500 000, mostly spent in the United States. D M Monroe, former pastor of the Christian church in Honolulu, attended the convention.
