At about eight this morning a native walked into the police station and handed a platter containing a bomb to an on duty officer. The bomb was taken to Deputy Marshal Hitchcock's office for questioning. The owner, a Chinese named Abba, was arrested pending investigations. The case may link to a prior incident involving tampering of a similar device from a Japanese source.
Kinny JM Vivas reported disturbance as Portuguese next door celebrated having sixteen bottles of wine. Mounted officers went to read a temperance lecture but found the house vacant.
