American forces commanded by General Wood launched a successful attack on Moro defenses at Jolo. The assault broke through, the position fell, and Moros were scattered. Seventy five Moros were killed while American forces sustained minimal casualties.
Yokohama reports that the prolonged delay in replying to overtures between Japan and Russia is causing a very serious impact on the nation’s trade activity and commerce.
