Hawaii Legislature Apportionment Delayed in Committee

Washington March 18 The sub committee of the Committee on Territories has the apportionment of the Hawaiian Legislature under advisement with no conclusion yet. It is reported ready to report at the next regular meeting Friday. George R. Carter and Caupleas, Hawaii Senate secretary, will reunite Home Rule Republicans Caypless and plan a combined apportionment proposal for committee consideration. Caypless says Wilcox agrees to adopt his plan though he notes minor deficiencies in the treasure drafted bill which do not derail the committee, the defect lies in a Bligh contact with the Organic Act of the Territory.
