Lake County Supervisors Hold Brief Routine Session
The Board of Supervisors met last evening with Citizens present as two youths alleged insult and assault by Detective Lake. A committee to investigate was formed while other items included bridge bids, park improvements, and road district appropriations. The session adjourned at 1:15 with plans to reconvene on the 27th.

The Honolulu Engineering Association held a semiannual election of officers at Hanloton Lawn. New members admitted included Edward C. Brown as chairman and G. Ballentyne as treasurer. The meeting moved from the third Monday to the second Thursday each month. Cannon of Portland spoke on electrical power development for the Hawaiian Islands, noting benefits of a fixed central power plant to reduce control power for multiple street railway and street lighting networks.
