Governor Dole to solicit proposals for purchase of coupon bonds dated May 1 1909, redeemable in five to fifteen years from issuance. Total floated amount set at $226,000. Bond denomination is $1,000.
Constantinople March 5 Preparations for war proceed as the Turkish War Minister is reported to be purchasing munitions from Germany despite peaceful replies from the Powers. The move signals escalating readiness for possible conflict.
