Accident on Pall road near Waiaku and Lahaina injures team

Manager Barkhausen of Pioneer Mill Co. was a passenger in a hack owned by two stables when a Bol linger colt team ran wild near Mano Walnut. The pair toppled over a stone wall and rolled down a steep slope, killing the horses and wrecking the hack. Barkhausen escaped unharmed by leaping clear as the rig plunged.
