Volcanic Flows Abate Near Hilo Report
Eben Low from Hawaii describes lava flows around Hilo that ceased overnight and later moved within four miles of Kalaioha house before dying out. The latest flow was about twenty five feet in three hours, eleven miles from Koalaioha house, with no danger to Hilo and expects any new eruption to take years to reach Rainy City.
