Jessie Kane sues for 8000 seeking replevin and damages against R L Co for allegedly forcible taking of personal baggage on outbound tram. Items listed include jewelry valued at 87000, scarf, chiffon, belts, and other belongings in two satchels. Janice Kane also sues for 500 for clothing and miscellaneous items in a separate claim. Humphreys and Hankey represent plaintiffs. case set for August term of Circuit Court.

Two docks about 140 feet wide and 600 feet long will enable vessels drawing 28 feet of water to load coal and take on water, with coral dredging of 80 000 cubic feet. Total project cost not exceeding 310 000 dollars, plus land grading and fencing. Construction to start next month, with completion by March next year.
