The National Guard officers were voted in last night at military headquarters on Capitol grounds. A large turnout elected J. Walter Jones as Colonel and Chas W. Ziegler as Lieutenant Colonel, with Thomas B. Wall and Wm. J. Riley named Majors for a four year term. Theatrical stage employees hold a royal union and over 4000 members are noted.
The Senate approved Howe Bill No 10 an special appropriation for the Board of Health to cover unpaid bills through July 1. House Bill No 7 on Edmund P. Dole compensation passed third reading with a broad majority. House Bill 9 on right of way at Tantalus was referred to Public Lands. Recess at 10 24.
