Study Kahn's Bill Exclusion Under AG Scrutiny
Washington December 16 The Kahn exclusion bill is under Attorney General review in the lands department and will be returned tomorrow to a committee with AG office suggestions. After printing it will be discussed again by the Pacific Coast delegation and introduced after the holidays. The committee accepted Coombs amendments, removing provisions including denying Chingy’s right to habeas corpus. Ali Faym says amendments are unsatisfactory but the bill is strong and likely to be favorably reported by the Foreign Relations Committee chaired by Hitt.
