Serious knife battle in Kamanowai ends in chest wound

A serious night clash occurred in Kamanowai on Saturday morning when Salvado, a Central American, and Masee Kahalehili, a young native, fought and Kahalehili received a deep chest gash from a knife. Police, led by Lieutenant Opuaui, detained Salvado at his Queen Street room after he initially hid. Kahalehili is in hospital awaiting further treatment as the case awaits trial.
