Los Angeles Sep 15 The California Supreme Court held that thousands of corporations formed in Arizona and other states to escape stockholders liability are subject to California laws. The Wentworth Company, organized in Arizona, sought exemption for stockholders but the court ruled that California requires articles of incorporation to specify any exemption, making out-of-state entities liable for proportionate debts in California.

Governor Dickerson has offered a reward of 850 for the apprehension of aunt Thomas Maddon, paroled from the Novads State penitentiary at the January Board of Pardons meeting.
