Joseph Grandalmeyer of Hamilton presented Reno Chamber of Commerce with a 1869 map of Treasure City and vicinity. The area then held Hamilton, Treasure City and Sherman Town with 35,000 residents and 28,000 mining claims. The White Pine excitement drew banks, blocks, and high wealth, including the Eberhardt mine yielding over ten million dollars and the Acrora mine producing several millions before the decline.
