FFSCRIBES PROGRESS AT BUCKHORN MINE

Buckhorn Mine in Eureka County Nevada shows drift work on both haulage adit branches and raises to upper levels. 300 ton mill under construction uses a complex crushing and classification sequence with Blake crusher trommel rolls Hardinge ball mill and multiple classifiers. Power plant at Beowane and a 30 mile line to Buckhorn nearing completion. S. J. Kidder is general manager. Information sought on M Proctor missing since February.

Concession Granted Homesteaders Under New Interior Rules

The Department of the Interior announced an amendment to homestead regulations allowing entrymen to reduce the land area required for cultivation when land is impractical for cultivation or suitable only for grazing.
