Tybo Mines in Nye County Attract Buyer Interest
Justice of the Peace L W Cromer reports JT J Lynch and partners who recently bought the Herman Reischke mines at Reveille visited the Tybo 2G mine of the Tybo Mining Company last week. They eyed a possible sale and a smelter link between Tybo and Reveille to utilize Reveille ores in Tybo. The 2G mine, a top Nye County property, suffers high costs from 92 miles of wagon travel and distant rail and smelting charges, factors that led to its closure over a year ago.
