Mining Near Palisade Spur Spurs Nevada Ore Shipments

West Mining Company operates six miles west of Palisade at a spur named Barth, shipping about 100 tons daily to American Smelting at Murray Utah. The venture plans to raise daily output to 200 tons with fifteen workers, using a Burleigh drill and elevated ore cars. Nearby Cripple Creek Colorado hosts similar iron ore formations, and transport rates via Southern Pacific favor Nevada shipments.

New Lease Of Life For Mosel Battle Mountain Cutoff
