J H Rogers resident manager of the Richmond Eureka Mining Company was stricken with paralysis at his home Tuesday. Robert Harvey night watchman found him on a couch with a lit candle, later seen sitting doubled over in a rocking chair. Lovelock November 21 large shipments of beef cattle from Idaho have flowed into the local stockyards for ten days. About five to fifteen cars daily handled by H. H. Neal. W. H. Cooper & Son of Winnemucca drove in 1000 head from Kennedy to winter here. Unike buys 400 head, Bolander ships to feed on H. Stoker ranch. Grayeon & Owens of San Francisco have buyers in Idaho for winter shipping. Total cattle into the valley this Fall about 7000 head plus 16000 to 20000 sheep being wintered here.
