A sale is announced for three furnished houses in Eureka and one stone house rough locks with a quantity of carpenter, blacksmith and mining tools, two windlasses, wire rope, and related items. The entire property may be sold as a whole or in part at a stated sale.
A lengthy public notice from the United States Land Office Carson City Nevada dated October 15 1900s details patent application for multiple Quartzite Porphyry Shack and other lodes in Eureka District Eureka County Nevada with survey numbers and boundary courses. It identifies conflicts with various lodes including Harrie Hasrie Extension Price and Davies and notes the survey plat and official record.
Notice is given that on November 14 1900 Nevada Treasure Mining Company of Kearns requests permission to appropriate public waters in Sit Cenyen Bareks Kianty Nevada and vicinity six miles east of Cortes. Notice is given that Treasure Mining Company Eureka County Nevada filed on October 10 application No 1497 with the State Engineer for permission to appropriate waters at a stated rate. The plan covers an oil reservoir area with a pipeline to convey water from a point about four miles southeast from the northwest corner to points of use for domestic and mining purposes with water not to be returned to the stream. Applicant Frank B Nicholas states on September 20 an application was filed with the State Engineer for a reservoir or conduit to convey 50 cubic feet per second from a spring near Kearns Mining District Eureka County to Cortes area for domestic use. Water returned to stream at diversion point. Published Oct 16 and Nov 6, 1909.
