W A Barnes of San Francisco reports Bullwhacker Consolidated prepares for larger future development with new hoist and spur construction, ore shows strong at 500 level with silver and lead values. Ruby Hill Shaft work continues toward 1700 feet while dewatering and new compressor setup proceed.

Bowman Eur opa Consolidated and Racine localities mine option

Mary Fulton and Lyman Fulton own the Bowman Eur opa Consolidated and Racine locations. Hugh Leonard controls an option to take over and continue underground work. The Bowman shaft reaches 300 feet and Racine 400 feet as ore bodies remain limited in high grade payoff but past production suggests more ore along faults in the limestone. The mines lie on Adams Hill and are seen as valid ground by local miners. The option mandates continuous work of at least 150 shifts per month.

Eureka Nevada Railway mail service to change May 17

The Eureka Nevada Railway and the Railway Mail Service discuss new mail timing with three weekly full runs to Eureka and three to Diamond, ending May 17. Trains from Palisade arrive Eureka at noon on Monday Wednesday Friday, depart 1 p m. to Diamond Tuesdays Thursdays Saturdays. No stage link between Diamond and Eureka means only three mails weekly unless Diamond-Eureka stage is arranged.
