Ore Stored In Bins At Croesus Mine After Snow
Severe snow storms blocked roads to the Croesus mine this past week delaying ore shipments to smelters. High winds and feet of snow filled the roads, but high grade ore is being extracted from 400 faces and stored in bins at the mine. The Eureka Tunnel workings show progress and ore bearing ground was tapped this week, with plans to resume shipments once access improves. Repair parts for the Prospect Tunnel compressor plant have arrived and work accelerates.
