Hunting Elected Principal at Elko Grade School
L. A. Hunt, former Eureka County High School principal, is named principal of Bi Grammar Grade School with 14 grade teachers under his supervision. He and Mrs. Hunt arrived in Eureka from Carson by auto, stayed overnight, and continued to Elko the next day to begin duties at once with a brief summer vacation planned later.

Letters of guardianship were issued to J P Whitmore for Mary Whitmore a minor. The first and final account in Mary Whitmore estate was approved and distributed. Rev W F Kennedy authorized to perform marriage ceremonies in Nevada. A suit by George L Reading and Christopher OConnell vs Consolidated Cortez Silver Mines Co et al. seeks a restraining order to permit assessment work on the February mining claim in Cortez district, while patent action on the claim proceeds. The restraining order was granted. Las Vegas will hold its county sale September 27.

Last Wool Shipments Leave Local Rail and Roads
The final wool shipment from the area was sent today by local railway. About 600 large bales have already been moved from Eureka this season by road. Additional wool was transported from Eureka this spring to main lines by auto trucks.
