Dr Taylor, the optometrist, cannot be present in Hureka today as announced last week. An announcement in today’s Sentinel states he will attend on Saturday, August 7.
Excursion and ball game between Eureka and Palisade planned for August. Nevada Transportation Company offers round trip $2.50 from Eureka to Palisade. Train leaves Eureka August 8 at 2 30 p m and returns from Palisade August 8 at 2 40 p m. Tickets on sale at County Recorder's office in Burk e. Tickets must be purchased by August 6 at 5 30 p m. No baggage checked. Dance at Siri hall Saturday evening with Carlin Orchestra. Committee seeks 50 tickets to secure rate.
