DIES ON THE DESERT IN DEATH VALLEY SAGA
In Goldfield Nevada July 11 two men from Los Angeles, Peter Busch and Roy Shaw, abandoned a stalled car in Death Valley while heading to Rhyolite. Busch died from heat, his body found two miles from the Keane Wonder mine. Shaw, exhausted but alive, was found returning with a water canteen. both men had water but drew on it for cooling. The Busch brothers, early Bullfrog district pioneers, formerly lived in Cripple Creek Colorado.
