Halley’s Comet Tail To Dazzle West Coast May Fifteenth
Oakland astronomer Professor Barckhalter predicts Halley’s comet will pass through the last third of its 20 million mile tail on May 15, offering a spectacular, awe inspiring sight for the West and Pacific Coast. He notes the sun’s low altitude may hinder but observations should be good for about an hour if transit occurs as predicted.
