Mine Manager Arrest After Carson Death Probe
Mine Inspector Andy Stinson returned from Pioche where he investigated the death of Frank Burnes shift boss at Prince Consolidated mine on the 10th of last month. Stinson found death due to carelessness and demanded compliance with state safeguarding statutes. the management refused and nearly all tied to the property were arrested. Case sent to Attorney General. A separate note says 1918 women’s dress styles will save 25 percent on material, prompting curiosity about where cuts will come.
