Carson Nev Feb 13 The charges by Miss J E Somers Cherry Creek Nev claim a unnamed state official is not a citizen of the United States. The letter to the Nevada Legislature urges a birth or naturalization proof law and accuses the official of impersonation debt and graft. The suspected person is identified by local reports as Joe Josepha Clerk of the Supreme Court. Josepha has not commented awaiting investigation.

Stall Brothers of Nation Nevada have bonded the Serita mining claim for 25000 and also bonded the Lake View claim for 20000 owned by W T Elliot and John Bryan. The adjacent New York claim has been bonded for 20000. James Logan bonded his quarter interest in the Red Rock claim for 3750. Other owners' interests to be taken over later. These bonds forecast a mining boom and recall the Stalls' rise from National mines.

William Lawrence known as the Kentucky gentleman returned from Nye County where Willow Creek camp lies three miles from the Ely Tonopah road and 93 miles from both towns. He says leasing opportunities were taken early with rich ore shipped to Tonopah averaging over 200 dollars per ton. About 200 tons of high grade ore remain on dumps and the camp employs around 80 miners plus others at work in the mines.
