Nevada Tax Commission Orders Budgets On Ash Basis
The Nevada Tax Commission requires all counties cities towns and school districts to prepare annual expenditure budgets on an ash basis between January and April. Budgets must be published in a newspaper for at least two weeks and filed with the Tax Commission or County Auditors as applicable. Penalties include removal from office or legal action upon noncompliance.
